Summary

Children’s Home Manager – 3 Bed EBD Home
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

We are recruiting an experienced and committed Children’s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Birmingham.

This is an opportunity to take full leadership of a small home, ensuring high standards of care, strong team performance, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

• Hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a 3-bed EBD home

  
  

• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards set by Ofsted

  
  

• Lead, develop and supervise a residential care team

  
  

• Promote a safe, structured and nurturing environment

  
  

• Oversee care planning, risk management and safeguarding processes

  
  

• Manage budgets, occupancy and home performance

  
  

• Build effective relationships with local authorities and external professionals

  
  Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

    
    

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting

    
    

  • Strong knowledge of EBD, safeguarding and children’s home regulations

    
    

  • Proven leadership and staff development experience

    
    

  • Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people
