Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Rough Sleepers Drug & Alcohol Navigator to join a service supporting vulnerable individuals across East London.
Rough Sleepers Drug & Alcohol Navigator
Location: East London
Start Date: ASAP - Until 31st March (Potential Extension)
Hours: 4 days per week (Monday-Friday), 7 hours per day (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: £16+ per hour (PAYE + holiday pay) / £21 per hour (LTD)

Deliver outreach support to rough sleepers across the borough.

Engage individuals experiencing homelessness and substance misuse issues.

Provide brief interventions, harm reduction advice, and recovery-focused support.

Support clients to access drug and alcohol treatment services.

Work closely with homelessness teams, local authorities, and partner agencies.

Build strong professional relationships to improve multi-agency collaboration.

Support clients in attending appointments and engaging with services.

Maintain accurate case records and update systems in line with service requirements.

Manage a caseload and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

Previous experience working in outreach and homelessness services.

Strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery pathways.

Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.

Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.
