Summary

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (14 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Days: Thursday and Friday, Shifts: Alternating weekly between early shift (05:15 – 12:45) and late shift (12:00 – 19:30)

What to expect
As a Depot Shift Manager, you will have the highly valuable role of leading, motivating and supporting the frontline team on the site whilst effectively managing performance against KPIs. You will have the responsibility of ensuring Post Office Supply Chain remains compliant, safe, secure, and legal. Whilst positively contributing to the business by challenging costs, driving excellent engagement, and delivering excellent customer service. 

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead an important team, servicing Post Offices across Scotland. This will include the management of day-to-day operations on site, undertaking performance reviews, opening and closing the site and ensuring compliance regulations are being met. 


What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a strong communicator with strong people skills who can lead and working within a team. As a CViT Shift Manager, you will have the ability to understand and produce reports to deliver operational improvements and manage change. You will:

- Have line management experience of a frontline team
- Be comfortable working within a team or in isolation 
- Experienced with basic health and safety principles
- Have a UK driving license
- Strong numeracy 
- Computer literate 
- Previous experience working within fleet or logistics is desirable but not necessary
- CPC qualification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.

(For compliance regulations you must hold a SIA licence before starting the role. This will be applied by the company, if you do not already hold one. Must have O Licence or be prepared to sit the O Licence exam)
