Do you have a passion for helping others achieve their potential?
We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Officer to join our Adult and Community Learning team within Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting adult learners with additional learning needs or disabilities, helping to remove barriers and ensure everyone can fully participate in learning.
From reading and scribing in class to providing one-to-one encouragement, you’ll make a real difference to learners’ confidence, independence, and success.
We’re seeking someone with:
Experience of supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
A clear, accurate approach to written and verbal communication
Strong teamwork and record-keeping skills
An understanding of reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010
