Location: Rushden - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions? We're seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our collaborative team working on exciting water and wastewater projects. In this fulfilling role, you'll help design and implement electrical systems that make a real difference to communities and the environment.
What will you be responsible for? As a Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting them in delivering compliant and efficient electrical and LV engineering elements. Your day to day will include:
-Leading LV electrical installations for water and wastewater projects, including switchgear, MCCs, and control systems
-Producing and reviewing electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards
-Supporting electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities
-Ensuring compliance with BS 7671, STW Technical Standards, and safety regulations
-Collaborating with project teams to provide technical expertise and creative solutions
What are we looking for? This role of Project Engineer is great for you if:
-You have an Electrical Engineering degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience
-You hold 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification (essential)
-You possess C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent qualification
-You have experience in the UK water sector, particularly with Severn Trent Water
-You enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive team environment
