Summary
Are you a qualified electrical professional with a keen eye for detail? We are looking for a Battery Test Technician to join our established client in Aviation industry.
Location: Crawley
Industry: Aviation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Pay: £12.21 an hour to £15 per hour depending on experience
The Role:
- As a Battery Test Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying that batteries meet compliance and safety standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring all products are safe, reliable, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical testing on a range of battery types
- Ensure batteries meet required compliance and safety standards
- Accurately record and report test results
- Identify and report faults or non-conformities
- Maintain testing equipment and adhere to health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Recognised electrical qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience working as an electrician (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
- Experience in testing and inspection (desirable)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
