About the Role

In this role, you will:

Provide day-to-day support and guidance to a small team of DAPs/IDVAs.
Work closely with Volunteer Coordinators to ensure that the Hub is adequately resourced with volunteers who have the skills and capabilities to run volunteer-led services, including helpline.
To assist in the recruitment and induction of volunteers and student placements.
Oversee performance management and supervision of volunteers and student placements.
To provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families who are subject to or have experienced domestic abuse.
To participate (on a rota basis) in the delivery of an out of hours helpline 7 days a week.
Ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed and services are delivered in line with IDAS policies.
Liaise with external agencies including police, legal services, housing, and health professionals.
Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring services are accessible and responsive to the needs of all communities, including those who are underrepresented or marginalised.
