Summary
The duties of the Assistant Accountant role will include:
- Setting up bank payments and ensuring appropriate approval processes are followed
- Preparing daily cash reports for submission to senior management
- Conducting profit and loss (P&L) analysis
- Preparing overhead accounts and supporting the budgeting process
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly accounts pack
- Supporting interim and year end Group audit processes
- Preparing financial information and reports as required
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this position, you should have a strong interest in building a long-term career in Finance and Accounting. We are looking for an individual who is keen to pursue a professional accountancy qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA. Previous experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be a self-motivated team player who is eager to learn and contribute positively to the success of the Finance team.
