For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: Strategic and Operational Management2.1 Contribute to ensuring that the corporate aims and vision of the Trust relating to Clinical Research are achieved2.2 To set the vision and determine the objectives of Clinical Research Delivery & Management Services, monitor performance against these and take corrective action where appropriate.2.3 To lead, manage and develop a culture and environment where safe and high quality clinical research is consistently delivered across the division.2.4 To take a lead in the planning of research delivery & management service developments (including new networks and substantial capital development) which most appropriately meet the needs of research and achieve the maximum return on the resources invested.2.5 Take responsibility for components of strategy and policy developments related to Clinical Research.2.6 Ensure Clinical Research is able to meet all national and local performance standards taking corrective action where necessary. Clinical Research Delivery & Management Services Ensure the timely and efficient provision of Clinical Research Delivery & Management Serviceswithin the available resources. Monitor the quality of research delivery & management services, through internal and or external review. Maintain robust lines of communication with all staff including managers, consultant & nursing/AHP research leads and Senior Research Staff within ICR
