Cygnet Group are currently looking for an experienced Autism Support Worker (Days) to join our dedicated team at The Squirrels.About the Role We are offering a 42hour contract, working a variety of daytime shifts. Some shifts may start at 7 am, while others may finish at 10 pm, across a 7day rota (including two weekends per month). As an Autism Support Worker, you will: Support and assist residents in their daytoday lives Encourage independence while helping with cooking, cleaning and personal care Accompany residents to community activities such as cinema trips, swimming, local events and even nightclubs Promote personal development and help individuals learn new life skills Update and maintain accurate records to monitor health and wellbeing Provide emotional and physical support in a compassionate, personcentred wayAbout The Squirrels The Squirrels is a 9bed specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities who may present with behaviours that challenge.
