We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to support the effective delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance activities across the site.
Working as part of the Technical Services Team, you will contribute to the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of the centre, ensuring building systems, facilities, and communal areas remain in excellent working condition.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who can deliver general building maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric tasks within a small multi-disciplinary team.
The role follows the Pitman shift pattern and includes days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Shift Pattern: Pitman (4-week rotation)
Week 1 – Days: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on
Week 2 – Days: 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
Week 3 – Nights: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on
Week 4 – Nights: 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
Key Responsibilities
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
Operate and update the site’s Building Management System (BMS) and maintenance software.
Respond to site emergencies, including floods, power loss and safety-related issues.
Complete general building fabric, lighting and H&S repairs.
Liaise with and oversee contractors as directed by the FM/SFM.
Assist with maintenance issues raised by retailers and support the wider maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records and ensure workshop and equipment are kept safe and in good working order.
Comply with ISS and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Health & Safety policies.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Ideally from a Facilities Management background with experience completing PPMs and reactive works.
Comfortable working a varied shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Able to turn your hand to a wide range of maintenance tasks.
Flexible, proactive, and able to work as part of a small multi-skilled team.
