Crynodeb
Founded in 1682, the Royal Hospital Chelsea is a retirement community for around 300 army veterans, known as the Chelsea Pensioners, drawn from every corner of the United Kingdom. Based in the heart of London, it is a special place defined by community and service.
We are looking for people who enjoy working with others and take pride in making a positive difference. You will lead by example and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment for everyone who lives and works here.
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will support the preparation, service, and clearing of food and beverages, ensuring all areas remain clean, safe, and well presented. You will help set up service areas, assist with events, and uphold high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer care.
The ideal candidate will be a positive team player with good communication skills and a commitment to delivering great service. Previous experience in hospitality is helpful but not essential.
This is a full-time role, working any five days out of seven, which includes weekends. The shift times are: 0630 – 1430, 0700 – 1500, 1030 – 1830 & 1100 – 1900hrs. We will review applications as they come in and may close the advert ahead of the stated deadline. To avoid disappointment, please submit your application as early as possible.
If you are enthusiastic, professional, and enjoy working with people, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Important Information:
• Right to work in the UK is essential – unfortunately, the Royal Hospital Chelsea does not hold a sponsorship licence.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to be part of a proud legacy and contribute to the wellbeing of those who have served our country. You will be working in a supportive, respectful, and uplifting environment where every day brings the opportunity to make someone smile.
