About the Role
Please note that this role requires a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of our nursery. This role blends leadership, hands‑on practice, and operational oversight, with 2 days based in the office and 2 days working directly in the rooms.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations
Lead and mentor room leaders to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Contribute to planning and delivering high‑quality educational activities
Build strong, professional relationships with parents, staff, and children
Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and cleanliness
Drive continuous improvement across the nursery
Skills & Experience
Experience working with children in an early years setting
Strong leadership and team‑management abilities
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of EYFS and early childhood development
Ability to support the effective running of a nursery
Proficient in English
