Your Role as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
No two days are the same! You’ll be based in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, supporting the class teacher and helping pupils flourish both academically and personally.
You’ll be:
• Supporting learning in small groups and 1:1 settings
• Encouraging participation and building pupils’ confidence
• Helping to maintain a happy, focused classroom atmosphere
• Supporting children with a range of abilities and needs
• Acting as a positive role model each day
This role is ideal for aspiring Primary Teachers, Educational Psychologists or graduates considering a PGCE who want meaningful classroom experience before taking the next step.

• Excellent experience for teacher training or child-focused postgraduate courses
• Ongoing CPD and guidance from experienced staff
• Schools with strong transport links (some offering staff parking)
Who We’re Looking For
• A graduate in any subject (Education, Psychology, Early Years or Social Sciences are great — but not essential)
• Confident, warm and naturally encouraging
• Strong communicator with a proactive mindset
• Calm, patient and resilient
• Committed to making a positive impact
• Must have the right to work in the UK
If you’re ready to bring enthusiasm, personality and positivity into the classroom — while gaining invaluable experience for your future career — we’d love to hear from you.
