Summary
University College Birmingham is seeking an organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our experienced Human Resources team to provide maternity cover for up to 12 months.
Our HR department delivers high quality support across a wide range of activities including recruitment, staff development, HR systems and employee relations. In this role, you will assist in the effective administration of these areas, ensuring colleagues across the University receive an efficient and professional service.
You will contribute to core HR processes such as maintaining HR and staff development systems, supporting recruitment activity and assisting with the organisation of the staff induction programme. As the first point of contact for HR enquiries, you will use your strong communication skills to provide friendly and accurate support in person, by email and over the phone.
Previous administrative experience and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential. Whether you are looking for a new challenge or taking your first step into a Human Resources career, we welcome your application.
