Summary
We have an opportunity for a passionate recovery worker to join our west midlands or Shropshire Service. Responsibilities: Monitor and observe service users regularly, documenting behaviour and progress as per organisational protocols Assist service user with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation Implement and support care plans designed by healthcare professionals, ensuring service user needs are met effectively Provide emotional support and reassurance to service user, fostering a safe and supportive environment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review service user progress and adjust care strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records of service user interactions and report any concerns or incidents promptly Support the organisation of therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by senior staff Uphold safety standards at all times, intervening appropriately in situations of distress or behavioural issues GCSES Equivalent level 4/5 Flexibility Desirable Care Certificate/ Mandatory Training also desirable Minimum or willing to work towards a NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social care Personal Qualities: Passionate about making a difference in peoples lives Enthusiastic and motivated Honest and reliable Strong communication skills Loyal and committed Positive, can do attitude The ability to be a good role model The ability to lead by example Benefits: Free training - Comprehensive induction and ongoing training Pension scheme Development and promotion opportunities available 24/7 Employment Support Program
