At HMP Morton Hall, the site offers a unique working environment that balances structure with openness. With a strong focus on safety, rehabilitation, and community, Morton Hall provides a professional yet approachable setting for staff. The site is also performance-recognised by the establishment, reflecting the high standards and dedication of the team working there.
This isn’t your typical prison environment — the site features open areas and a more spacious layout, with just five accommodation blocks to maintain, making it a more manageable and less confined setting.
The Electrician plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.
The team of 20 is supportive and diverse with excellent work ethic. Typically the work is completed independently alongside one other on-site Electrician, with the option to buddy up for health and safety when needed.
