Summary

We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our team who shares our commitment to delivering a high quality support service.
The Team Leader will provide practice leadership and direction to the staff team, working with vulnerable adults in supported living services and out in the community.
You will be required to adopt the values and ethos of the company, applying a person-centred approach that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices. This is a blended role combining hands-on support and management/admin time.
Main responsibilities:
- To provide excellent practice leadership to support staff and to model the way of working that PCAS promote.
- To ensure that Support Plans, Risk Assessments and other associated support documents are fully completed and reviewed.
- To ensure that Support Workers are supported to develop in line with role requirements.
- Supervision and Appraisal of Support Staff as delegated by the Service Manager.
- To ensure that staff annual leave is managed in accordance with company policy.
- To ensure that Log Notes are completed and filed in accordance with company policy.
- To deputise for the Service Manager as required.
- To oversee Key Workers and ensure that monthly reviews are completed, and goals set and/or reviewed as appropriate.
- To facilitate staff and tenant meetings on the required basis and ensure minutes are produced and signed by all relevant parties.
- To ensure that all safeguarding requirements are adhered to and met.
- To carry out service audits as required.
- To ensure company policies are understood and adhered to.
- To ensure Code of Practice is understood and adhered to.
- To undertake first line performance management activities with support staff.
- Any other duties as reasonably expected by line manager.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for kind, caring individuals that are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives.
- We’re all about working smarter and are paper free!, so you’ll need your own smartphone to stay on top of care plans, log notes and view rota’s.
- Previous experience in the care sector is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
