Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Community Care Assistant to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients in the comfort of their own homes across West Midlands. This role is ideal for someone who wishes to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while enjoying flexibility and professional fulfilment.
Please note: domiciliary care involves providing door-to-door support within patients/client homes. When joining Chameleon care, you may not begin with a full schedule on both days immediately. Hours are built gradually by supporting existing patients/clients and welcoming new individuals as they join our service. We kindly ask applicants to bear this in mind when applying.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Deliver personal care, medication administeration, and companionship in accordance with individual care plans.
2) Promote independence, dignity, and respect in every interaction.
3) Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
4) Travel between client homes (a driving licence is required)
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support daily living activities such as Light domestic duties, meal preparation and medication administration.
Use positive behaviour support approaches when assisting clients with complex needs.
Document care provided and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
Participate in training to enhance skills and remain informed of best practices in care
Requirements:
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care principles is preferred.
First aid certification is an advantage; willingness to obtain certification is required.
Ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and respectful approach.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
