Summary
South Kesteven FAST is a stable and friendly team of around 22 social workers, organised into four supervision groups, each taking a week per month to manage incoming referrals through a balanced and collaborative duty system.
Based in Grantham, just off the A1, the team delivers high‑quality social care across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings pathways, with clear leadership and strong practice standards.
We are seeking a skilled and committed Social Worker who can:
Complete high-quality assessments for children and families
Support and manage Child in Need and Child Protection plans
Lead child protection enquiries
Navigate court proceedings with confidence and clarity
Communicate effectively across multi‑agency partnerships
Produce clear, concise, and robust written reports and assessments
You will work within a team and practice model that emphasises stability, strong support, and effective safeguarding practice.
