Directorate
As a Timetabling Support Officer you will be based in the directorate of Registry and Student Administration and work alongside the Timetabling Coordinator to produce student and staff timetables making efficient use of resources available.
The timetabling team has recently won the ‘Unsung Hero’ Award for their outstanding contribution and are looking for someone who can join a fantastic team of individuals who are fully committed to supporting an exceptional student experience.
What you will be doing:
To provide efficient timetabling support and room booking service to the University.
To analyse and deal with large complex datasets to schedule timetables with a broad use of related IT application, including MS Office.
To provide professional customer support service within a busy organisational structure and to work to a high degree of professionalism and accuracy, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is key.
To prioritise workload under pressure with a positive creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications/ experience:
Previous experience in timetabling and room booking will be preferred, however not essential, all training will be provided
Experience of working in an administrative role
Experience of data collection or using databases
Ability to prioritise and coordinate workload, managing own time and working to set deadlines.
