Overview
We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Cleaner to provide temporary sickness cover at the ABB site in Warrington. This is a straightforward, well-structured evening cleaning role, ideal for someone seeking consistent part-time hours.
Duties Will Include:
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste correctly
Wiping down desks, chairs and surfaces
Cleaning toilets, urinals and wash basins
Spot-cleaning carpets and maintaining floor surfaces
Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines where required
Internal window and glass cleaning
Replenishing consumables (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.)
Carrying out periodic deep cleaning tasks when required
Safe use of cleaning chemicals in line with procedures
Moving light furniture and equipment when necessary
Requirements:
Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
Ability to work independently and to a high standard
Reliable and punctual
Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH procedures
Professional attitude at all times
This is a temporary role covering sickness absence, running until 27th March 2026, with consistent weekday evening hours.
