Summary

Are you confident developing Revit models for steel structures and mechanical piping while working to strict industry standards?

The Opportunity
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Revit Designer to support asset care and modification projects within a highly regulated environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure upgrades, producing high-quality design deliverables within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
We would also welcome applications from these industries: nuclear, defence, oil and gas, petrochemical, energy and power generation.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Revit Technician, Senior Revit Technician, CS&A Designer, Structural Designer, Civil Designer, BIM Designer, BIM Technician, Mechanical Piping Designer, Structural Detailer, Design Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

- Develop and deliver detailed engineering design packages including specifications, calculations, drawings and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory and project requirements.
- Produce and coordinate 3D Revit models covering civil, structural and mechanical piping elements, aligned with project scope and performance criteria.
- Update layouts, general arrangement drawings and piping isometrics to reflect design modifications.
- Collaborate closely with Lead Engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integrated, constructible and safe design solutions.
- Ensure all outputs are completed to agreed programme, budget and quality standards.

You will have the following qualifications and experience:

- Proven experience operating as an Autodesk Revit Designer within a highly regulated sector, ideally nuclear or similarly controlled industries.
- Demonstrable background in steelwork design, with working knowledge of relevant codes such as Eurocode 3 and BS 5950, including steel detailing principles.
- Experience preparing technical design documentation including drawings, reports, installation methodologies and risk assessments.
- Strong understanding of British and ISO standards, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or similar) with substantial design experience, or a Civil Engineering degree (BEng/MEng) supported by relevant project delivery experience.

Hybrid working is available with a minimum of three days per week on site in Warrington, alongside occasional site visits or travel to other offices. Security clearance is required; candidates able to commence under BPSS while SC is in progress are encouraged to apply. This role is inside IR35.
