Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician within a unique working environment located in Llandow.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
Benefits:
- Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum however this is negotiable pending experience.
- Additional overtime in the form of evenings is available as and when, with rates of pay being paid over and above!!
- 28 days annual leave. Bank holidays are considered a working day unless booked off (other than Christmas Day & Boxing Day)
- Workplace pension scheme.
- Company support in any additional technical training and development.
- Working hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events a year are contracted with expenses paid.
Duties:
- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards
- Assist with car loading and unloading during event periods
- Given our client frequently does race weekends for their customers, you will also need to have a flexible approach to assisting with these on occasions
Requirements:
- IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Several years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
- A Current and Valid UK Driving License
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
The salary for this role is up to £35,000 basic.
Hours of work for this Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events per year are contracted.
