Summary
A growing multi-national church and a Charitable Incorporated Organisation located in Cheetham Hill, Greater Manchester is seeking a dedicated minister to join our church community as a Youth Pastor. The position is based in the UK and offers an opportunity to make a positive impact within our faith community.
The Youth Pastor would be responsible for leading the children department, teaching the youths Christian values and morals, performing pastoral duties and conducting services in accordance with our Christian values, mission and visions, building a child-friendly environment that focuses on Health and Safety requirements, preparing educative spiritual, religious and biblical materials for the children, engaging the youths in creative arts and crafts for the them.
Responsibilities /Job Description
• Oversee and lead the youth department
• Create youth-friendly environment that meets up with Health and Safety requirements
• Teach the youth Godly values and morals
• Prepare and deliver youth-friendly sermons or teaching that includes spiritual
materials for youths
• Engage the youth in creative arts and crafts
• Organise and provide suitable snacks and meals for the youth.
• Lead and develop the youth church in praise, worship and prayers
• Deputise for the Lead Pastor
• Perform pastoral duties and conducts some services in accordance with our
Constitution.
Responsible to: Lead Pastor
Skills and Requirements for the role
Must be a born-again Christian, believe in Jesus Christ as the only
begotten son of God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy bible as the word of God.
Must be vast and well grounded in the word of God.
Must be a member of the C&S or from a verifiable C&S background.
Must be well grounded in the doctrine and constitution of C&S church at large
Active, daily, personal devotional life.
Open to the move and voice of God.
An active, committed Pentecostal Christian.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English Language.
Ability to lead and participate in church services.
Ability to support the lead Pastor and leadership in growing the ministry.
Knowledge of the West African/Caribbean culture including ability to
speak one local African language.
Ability to minister to the needs peculiar to that ethnic group is desirable.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree or HND with proof of English proficiency at level B2
Evidence of training in similar role(s)
