Summary
The post holder will work across CNWL’s Addictions services to deliver training to staff across the Directorate on a comprehensive range of addictions harm, treatment and recovery. Training will primarily focus on the Recovery Workforce but will extend to clinicians and other health social care professionals. They may also provide training as required to wider Trust colleagues, external stakeholders and members of the community.
The post holder will beresponsible for developing, promoting and delivering an audience-appropriate training programme for staff and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience, incorporatingevidence-based care and best practice.
The Addictions Directorate with CNWL Foundation Trust is a large, well-established provider which offers a wide range of specialist NHS substance use and behavioural addiction treatment interventions to the diverse and multicultural populations across Central and North West London. Our services include community services, family therapy services, A&E liaison, National Gambling Service and a Club Drug Clinic.
Our addictions services are dedicated to helping reduce the harm caused by substance misuse and behavioural addictions; helping people overcome their dependence and helping clients and their families rebuild their lives and enable

· Design, develop and deliver a programme of training that develops the expertise of staff working within Addictions services in line with the capability framework, including Recovery Practitioners and those with minimal clinical training.
· Lead on on-going training needs analyses of staff and stakeholder groups.
· Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops on a range of topics linked to drug, alcohol and other addiction harms and their treatment and management.
· Plan and lead in the delivery of training, ensuring that the skills, knowledge base and learning is transferred to appropriate stakeholders.
