Summary

Deputy Nursery Manager – Term Time Only – £24,000–£26,000



Our client, a small, term-time only nursery rated Good by Ofsted, is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their nursery. You will be taking responsibility for day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and maintaining high-quality care and learning alongside the Nursery Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role where reliability and practical experience are essential.



Before You Apply



  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.

  • Safeguarding qualification is essential.

  • Recent experience in a similar leadership role within an EYFS nursery is required.

  • Applicants must be reliable and confident in day-to-day nursery operations.

  • Salary £24,000–£26,000 per year, dependent on experience

What You’ll Need

What You’ll Do



  • Supervising staff and ensuring high-quality care

  • Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations and compliance with EYFS

  • Deliver and oversee educational activities and key person responsibilities

  • Maintain safeguarding, health, safety, and hygiene standards

  • Communicate effectively with parents about their children’s progress

  • Assist with staff induction, training, and supervision
