Summary
Title: Applications Chemist - Fragrances
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
SRG is partnered with a leading, family-owned manufacturer of personal care, skincare, home care, hygiene, and laundry products based in Leeds known for its collaborative culture and recent growth. This exciting Applications Chemist opportunity would be well suited to a recent scientific graduate who is passionate about fragrances and keen to kick-start their career in a laboratory.

Role / Description
- Building relationships with fragrance houses to create fragrance briefs
- Formulating a variety of finished products to incorporate fragrances into
- Carrying out stability and fragrance strength panel testing
- Performing competitor benchmark testing
- Researching industry and seasonal fragrance trends.
Requirements
- Recently graduated in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Natural Sciences or similar
- An obvious passion for fragrances and/or the wider Personal Care/HI&I industries
- Accuracy in weighing and measuring out raw materials
- Creative and proactive, with a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a multitude of departments
- Able to multi-task and change priorities quickly depending on business need.
