Summary

Job Title: Packing Operative - Nutritional Animal Food/Medicine

Location: Arlanda Way, Humberside Airport, Kirmington DN39 6YH

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (overtime available)

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Key Details:

  • Shifts:
  • 06:30 - 14:30
  • 14:30 - 22:30 (Please note: This is not a rotating shift pattern, but candidates must have availability for both shifts as required.)
  • PPE: Safety boots and hi-visibility vest are mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pack and prepare nutritional food and medicinal products for animals according to specified guidelines.
  • Ensure all packaging is completed with care, maintaining the integrity and quality of sensitive products.
  • Follow operational procedures for light-duty packing, including correct labelling and bundling.
  • Comply with all health & safety regulations and PPE requirements on site.
  • Support quality assurance checks to ensure all packed items meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the packing area.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or production environments preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and work to set standards.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of hygiene and product quality.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Safety conscious and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drivers preferred due to limited public transport access to site.
  • Willingness and ability to work both shift times as needed.
