Job Title: Locum Consultant Histopathologist
Location: Suffolk, UK
Rate: £100-£120ph dependant on experience. PAYE only.
Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)
Start Date: ASAP, ongoing
Details: On-site general consultant Histopathologists required.
10 PA's per week (Mon-Fri) to meet the needs of the department. Job plan negotiable with interested candidates.
Needs to be on the specialist register.

About the Role
As a locum Consultant in Histopathology, you'll provide expert diagnostic services and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology care.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology
- Managing laboratory services and ensuring quality control
- Supporting junior doctors and laboratory staff
- Contributing to service development and audits
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- FRCPath or equivalent
- A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
- UK Right to Work
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
- CCT in Histopathology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
