Summary

We're looking for a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor to join our Transportation team based in Twyford, Buckinghamshire. In this role, you'll champion the highest standards of SHEA compliance across the business and supporting them in ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and Kier standards. Due to the nature of this position a full driving licence is essential.



Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire MK18 4FF - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?As a SHEQ Advisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, environment and quality across our operations. You'll work collaboratively with operational teams, providing expert guidance and support to ensure we create a safe and productive workplace for everyone.

Your day to day will include:

-Conducting regular health and safety inspections and audits across our projects

-Providing timely and effective operational SHE support and advice to the business

-Assisting teams in developing risk assessments and safe systems of work

-Ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are thoroughly investigated and reported

-Supporting the development of health and safety documentation and training plans

What are we looking for?This role of SHEQ Advisor is ideal if you have:

-Experience working as a SHE Advisor in a similar environment

-A NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent qualification

-Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g. Tech IOSH or above)

-The ability to influence positive safety behaviours and practices
