About the Team
This is a busy, modern technical function working across IT, Data, AI and Development, collaborating with analysts, developers, product leads and stakeholders across Fundraising, Finance, Services, HR, Digital and IT. The team partners internally with key business areas and externally with technical contractors and third‑party support, working together to deliver a reliable, scalable and insight‑driven data platform for the organisation.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a central role in designing, building and maintaining the organisation’s modern cloud data platform, with a strong focus on Snowflake and curated data models that support analytics, reporting and AI.
You’ll transform siloed data into trusted, accessible insight by developing robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting key systems such as CRM, finance and service platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build and maintain Snowflake environments, curated data models and secure, well‑governed data structures.
- Develop robust ELT/ETL pipelines, ensuring reliable, monitored data flows from multiple systems into trusted layers.
- Implement data quality checks, optimise performance and costs, maintain documentation and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑value data products.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Snowflake engineering skills, excellent SQL ability, and proven experience in data modelling, transformation and pipeline development.
- Knowledge of modern ELT architectures, data quality and observability practices, secure data handling, metadata/lineage workflows and cloud FinOps principles.
- Experience delivering production‑grade data solutions, integrating multiple source systems and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

This role is for a full-time position at 35 Hours per week.
This role is remote.
