Conquest Hospital is in the South East corner of the UK amidst a country and beachside setting with easy access transport links to London, Gatwick and Brighton.

Conquest is part of the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust

(ESHT) and provides comprehensive acute and community services to over 525,000 residents in East Sussex. With over 8,000 staff, the trust offers 24-hour emergency care, maternity, and specialist services, aiming to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

During the 4 months of this post, the post holder will be placed on a ward which manages General Medicine Patients. Depending on the staffing rotations, the post holder may rotate between Gastroenterology, Respiratory or Geriatric wards, each with a cohort of General Medicine Patients, providing a good exposure to a variety of cases and clinical experience. They will be supported by a medical team based on the ward and a supervising consultant. The post holder will also take part in the Medical Oncall Rota.



You will be encouraged to maintain a Personal Development Plan that can be used as evidence that all F2 competencies have been achieved whilst in this post. We have an active structured teaching programme with induction day. The post holder will be encouraged to contribute to quality improvement and audits if the opportunity arises and they are keen to pursue this.
