We are recruiting a Water Treatment Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial, banking and government sites across Southern England.

Job Description

This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’d manage full water hygiene programmes across commercial office sites, carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, cooling tower testing, closed system dosing, and tank inspections to ensure full compliance.

Act as a trusted on-site specialist, producing accurate reports while building strong relationships with facilities teams and proactively maintaining safe, efficient water systems.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day):

Temperature monitoring and outlet flushing
Shower head inspection, cleaning and disinfection

TMV servicing and fail-safe testing
Cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning and chlorination

Legionella sampling

Closed system sampling, testing and dosing (LTHW / CHW systems)

Checking inhibitor levels, pH and system condition

Supporting minor remedial works where required

Completing accurate service reports via handheld PDA

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)

Experience in water hygiene / legionella / water treatment maintenance

An understanding of ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines

Experience working on commercial water systems

Closed system sampling/dosing experience desirable

Eligible for BPSS clearance (5 years UK residency & clean criminal record)
