Crynodeb
We are looking for a caring individual to support a lady with complex health needs living in the Frenchay area of Bristol on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to 8pm (some flexibility may be available). The lady concerned is currently living in her parental home .
Previous experience with epilepsy, chronic pain, sleep apnea, post stroke mobility issues and poor memory is essential due to the complicated nature of care required.
The right candidate will be empathetic and trustworthy with a kind, engaging personality with excellent communication. A fun and can do attitude alongside flexibility to meet changing care needs – no two days are alike. They would also be friendly, outgoing and have a good sense of humour. An interest in true crime and films would also be a bonus.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes or community settings.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health status.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to client care.
Requirements
Experience in a caregiving role or relevant healthcare experience essential.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when required.
