Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
Hours: 37.5 hour per week
Shifts: 06.30 - 14.30 or 11.30 - 19.30 Monday to Sunday on Rota Basis.
Salary £23,809.50 per annum

As a Commis Chef, we have a great opportunity to work in a team providing the highest quality of food for patients and staff. In this role you will be able to learn and develop your skills whilst maintaining a work life balance.
Role Responsibilities include:
- To plan, prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Sous Chef / Head Chef.
- To assist with stock taking when required
- To carry out the smooth and efficient running of your section as appropriate
- To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service
- To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
Person Specification:
Essential Experience
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to communicate in basic written and spoken English.
- Good organisational skills
- Numerate (counting cash till may be required)
Desirable Experience
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Ability to show a passion for food and service
- Ability to plan ahead and use initiative
- Keen to continue self-development within current role and ambition for further promotion or growth
