Pay: £12.35 per hour
Hours: 24 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Shift Times: 8:00am - 16:00pm
Rota: 3 shifts per week on a rota basis, includes every other weekend

The Mountains Care Home is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner / Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
This is an important role within the home, helping to support residents’ wellbeing by ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained every day.
About The Mountains
Located in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, The Mountains is a friendly 50-bed nursing home supporting residents living with dementia and mental health needs. We pride ourselves on providing person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the home while working respectfully around residents and staff.
Daily duties include:
Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, bathrooms and en-suite areas
Cleaning communal lounges, dining rooms, corridors and shared spaces
Ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic and odour-free
Following infection prevention and cleaning procedures
Safe use of cleaning equipment and materials
Restocking supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
Working respectfully to maintain residents’ dignity and privacy
What We’re Looking For
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (care or healthcare setting ideal)
Understanding of infection control or willingness to learn
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Friendly and respectful approach when working around residents
Able to work alternate weekends as part of a rota
