Summary
Upholding the Trust CARES values and under the supervision of senior colleagues be responsible for the assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for a group of paediatric patients. Once assessed as competent administer oral and intravenous medication in accordance with Trust policy. Promote continuing education and professional development by attending training as necessary and act as a Practice Supervisor or Assessor to student nurses in training. Work collaboratively as part of the paediatric nursing workforce to support other areas of paediatric practice as necessary such as paediatric day care, neonatal unit
