Fishbourne Roman Palace, Chichester
Casual (approximately 3.5 hours per week)
£12.21 per hour
Come and join Fishbourne Roman Palace as a Casual Mosaic Cleaner on our site.
In this role, you will be ensuring the cleanliness of Fishbourne Roman Palace’s unique and extensive collection of in-situ Roman mosaics by following protocols to keep the mosaics safe and to maximize their physical appearance.
You will need to document the cleaning activities undertaken and flag any issues to our Curator of Archaeology.
We are looking for a careful and methodical approach to this work, an ability to follow instructions accurately, an ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills. An interest in archaeology, especially Roman archaeology would be desirable.
We are flexible regarding when the hours are worked.
