Summary

The Team and Role

You will join the Landscapes finance team within the Business Services division, working alongside a Senior Finance Business Partner and two Finance Business Partners. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial support across both the Landscapes and Biotecture businesses.

Mitie Landscapes is a market‑leading UK provider of grounds maintenance, winter services, arboriculture, biodiversity solutions, and specialist outdoor services. The division manages a diverse portfolio of public and private sector contracts, operating with a strong focus on safety, sustainability, operational excellence, and disciplined margin management.

Biotecture, Mitie's specialist urban greening division, designs, delivers, and maintains innovative living wall solutions. Operating in a technically demanding and commercially complex environment, the business requires robust financial oversight, from project design through to post‑installation performance and margin optimisation.

This hybrid role is based in Bristol, with occasional travel to other UK offices, including the Landscapes divisional headquarters in Bordon, where senior operational leadership is primarily located.

The finance team is highly regarded within the wider Business Services division for its strong partnership with senior leadership, the quality of its outputs, and its proactive approach to driving insight and continuous improvement. Over the past 12-18 months, the team has delivered significant positive change within the business and aims to continue this.

The addition of this Junior Finance Business Partner role represents a strategic investment in strengthening the Landscapes finance team and building on its already strong commercial and financial capability. The focus is on developing talent from within, continually improving performance, and creating a clear pathway for progression. This role is ideal for someone with ambition, curiosity, and a desire to make a genuine impact, its ideal for someone who wants to grow quickly, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a high-performing team setting the benchmark for best practice within Business Services.

Importantly, this role serves as a strong stepping stone to a broader and more successful career within the Landscapes finance team and the wider Mitie organisation. Mitie is a large, diverse business that places real emphasis on cultivating and retaining talent; for individuals who work hard, show initiative, and demonstrate a desire to progress, opportunities continually present themselves both within Landscapes and across the wider Group.
