Summary
A lovely school in Merton is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join them in providing high quality learning experiences. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have recent experience working in a school setting with a variety of ages and abilities and be confident in working independently as well as in a team.
Good interpersonal skills are also required as part of your role will include liaising with parents, other staff members and third parties regarding children’s progress. Ability to use your initiative is also essential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team who work closely together, assisting with development of exciting and engaging activities across the curriculum. Children at this school are happy and enjoy learning and it’s an inclusive environment so you’ll also get to support children with SEN, tailoring work to their needs.
For this role, you’ll be working as a Teaching Assistant from Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm until at least July with the potential for the role to continue thereafter.
