Summary
Hours: 37 hours per week
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fire Door & U‑PVC Programme Supervisor to join our team at Coastline.
In this role, you will take responsibility for delivering our fire door compliance programmes, including remedial repairs, fire door set replacements and planned inspections. You will also oversee U‑PVC window and door servicing, maintenance and replacement across Coastline properties throughout Cornwall.
You will manage day‑to‑day work in progress, support operational staff on site, and ensure that all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with specifications, budgets and current health and safety legislation. This role also includes carrying out technical H&S site visits, developing performance reports, and supporting the use of mobile working technology within the team.
To be successful, you will have proven experience in building maintenance, including diagnosing and specifying remedial repair works in residential properties. You’ll also have a sound understanding of building materials, trades, legal requirements and the ability to produce risk assessments and method statements.
Experience or knowledge of fire door systems, compliance documentation, and U‑PVC window and door components would be an advantage, as would experience working within construction or social housing.
Strong communication skills, a flexible problem‑solving approach and the ability to support and guide staff are essential. This role involves working closely with customers, clients and internal colleagues, so a customer‑focused approach is vital.
You must have a full driving licence and be able to pass a basic DBS check.
If you take pride in delivering safe, high‑quality maintenance services and enjoy leading teams to achieve excellent results, we encourage you to apply.
Please note, if we have asked for a cover letter and you have not submitted one, your application will be automatically rejected and you will not be shortlisted.
