Summary
TRS Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a long established, family run business supplying automotive paints, consumables, tools, and equipment to trade and retail customers across the automotive, agricultural, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Serving trade and retail customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Answering phone and email enquiries confidently
• Mixing paints to customer specifications (training provided)
• Preparing, processing, and organising customer orders and deliveries
• Coordinating stock with suppliers and keeping shelves stocked and presentable
• Supporting warehouse duties and assisting with local deliveries when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised trade counter and shop area
Skills & Experience
Required:
• Full UK driving licence
• Customer facing or trade counter experience
• Strong communication skills and confident phone manner
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a small, supportive team
Desirable:
• Knowledge of automotive paints, consumables, or bodyshop products
• Previous experience in a trade counter or motor factor environment
Salary & Hours
• £30,000+ DOE
• Monday to Friday: 8:30am–5pm
