Summary
They are a professional event yard with youngsters through to 4* eventers. As well as the event horses, they also offer 5* luxury full livery and David is a BHSII Accredited Coach with over 12 years coaching experience.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate & driven individual. Someone that uses their initiative and has a common sense approach to their work.
The role will include; day to day running of the yard working alongside our other team members, daily yard duties as well as; trimming up, clipping, mucking out, bathing, show prep and opportunities to ride for the right candidate.
Previous experience working on a competition yard desirable but not essential however, you must have experience working with horses.
They would love to offer a full time position to the apprentice once they have completed their qualification with opportunities to gain more experience and progress up the levels in the team; work to head girl or show groom etc
5 days a week including weekends.
7.30am to 5pm each day with breaks
The apprenticeship is based on site in a practical setting therefore, not lots of time sitting in a classroom. If you did not gain your Maths & English GCSE's at school we can support you whilst on programme.
You need to be a UK resident or have lived in the EU for 3 years or more to apply for this role.
Training
All training will be provided on
site during your paid working hours.
Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination
of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training
Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English
and maths is beneficial but not essential.
If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your
Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
Skills required

Duration 15 months
