Summary
FettlerWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Fettler / Linisher to support our metal fabrication department. This role involves preparing fabricated metal components to a high standard prior to powder coating or further assembly.Applicants must be confident using hand and air tools and will be required to complete a practical skills test as part of the interview process.Hour color: rgb(93, 93, 93);">You will be required to work Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday color: rgb(93, 93, 93);">Requirements color: rgb(93, 93, 93);">? Fettling and linishing of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components? Removing weld spatter, sharp edges and surface imperfections? Preparing parts ready for powder coating? Ensuring components meet internal quality standards before moving to the next process? Using hand grinders, air tools, linishers and other finishing equipment safely? Inspecting parts for defects and reporting issues to supervisors? Maintaining a clean and organised work area? Adhering to Health color: rgb(93, 93, 93);">? Supporting general fabrication duties when required?
