Summary
Manpower are currently seeking an interim Part time Site Administrator, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for iconic brands such as Marmite, Pot Noodle, Colman's, and Hellmann's, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing environment.
The position is based at Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire, accessible by car and train. This is a part-time temporary role for 6 months, requiring approx. 21 hours per week, between Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying between £26,476 to £29,000 FTE (full time equivalent) per annum, pro rata, (hourly rate between £13.05ph - £14.30ph) depending upon experience.
General Purpose of Position:
This role is to support general site administration tasks and be the main day to day point of contact of operations administration tasks
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
General Site & Visitor Administration
- Provide administrative support to for all tasks related to visitors onsite (catering, taxis, PPE).
- Deliver day‑to‑day administrative support and oversee general site office operations.
Workwear & Facilities Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all uniform and workwear queries.
- Manage the creation, assignment, and maintenance of locker facilities for operators and workwear storage.
- Ensure office and factory administrative equipment (e.g., printers) are maintained, functional, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of stationery and office supplies across all relevant factory areas.
Communications & Engagement
- Coordinate and arrange site‑wide communications, including logistical support and preparation of relevant materials.
- Support the creation and distribution of site newsletters as required.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communications skills and ability for form effective working relationships.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
- Experience using Coupa for raising, tracking, and managing orders desirable
