This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join a leading player in its field in the Bridgwater area. You will be managing the QA side of the business and enjoy a varied role, the company values internal progression so will encourage development, meaning you can build a long term career.
The role:
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives across the team.
- Manage the Quality Assurance processes.
- Oversee internal and external audits - working closely with the assigned consultant.
- Manage all customer complaints and non conformances.
- Responsible for monitoring internal quality KPI's.
- Perform and manage inspection, calibration and FAIR activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working within the quality department for a manufacturing company.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100,
- Experience working with automotive and aerospace customers.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to manage quality systems
