Ince Church of England Primary and Nursery school is a large two form entry Primary School in the heart of Ince.
We are looking to appoint a Receptionist/ Administration Assistant to join our busy team.

Previous experience of working within a school environment would be preferable but we will also consider applicants with transferrable skills.
About the role:
As the Receptionist/Administration Assistant you will be the first point of contact for our pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
You will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the school office.
You will help pupils, families and staff who come to the office with queries or minor needs.
You will follow safeguarding procedures carefully to keep our pupils safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide general clerical and administrative support for the school.
- To maintain and update manual and computer records information such as admission and pupil records.
- To administer school meal arrangements by collecting, accurately recording and balancing the money, including contacting parents regarding any outstanding monies.
- To be the lead person undertaking reception duties as required, answering routine telephone calls, and face to face, signing in visitors, confirming meeting arrangements.
- To ensure pupil absences/lateness/appointments are recorded in line with legal requirements and in a timely manner.
- To maintain stationery and consumables for the whole school to include ordering from external suppliers by completion of appropriate in-house requisition orders.
- Sort and distribute internal and external mail.
- Assist the wider school staff to help the school run smoothly every day.

This is a permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term time plus one week. Specific working pattern to meet the needs of the school.
