The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated teacher, for our exciting and friendly school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, providing high-quality teaching for a class (year group to be confirmed).
  • Deliver an engaging, broad, and balanced curriculum in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a secure understanding of age-appropriate teaching and learning strategies, including effective differentiation and assessment for learning.
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the role, inspiring pupils to achieve their best.
  • Have excellent organisational, communication, and behaviour management skills.
  • Take responsibility for the pastoral care, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all pupils in their class.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
  • Establish high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development in line with the school’s values and policies.
  • Monitor pupils’ academic progress, attendance, and wellbeing, taking appropriate action and seeking support where necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers, communicating effectively about progress and concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and external professionals to support pupils’ learning and development.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required assessments, reports, and documentation in a timely manner.
