Summary

We are looking for an Architectural Technologist, based in Liverpool and / or Lincoln, to join our Kier Design business in providing design and other professional services across a range of sectors, but predominantly the built environment, for public and private sector clients. Kier Design has recently entered the top 25 of Building Consultancy companies in the UK. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious and growing team engaged across a wide range of sectors.



Location: Liverpool and/or Lincoln - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Architectural Technologist, you'll be working within our Architecture & Building Consultancy team, supporting them in producing high quality, comprehensive sets of detailed drawings and specifications in REVIT which will enable projects to be completed within agreed cost and budget parameters, running projects on site, and managing more junior members of the team.

Your day to day will include:

-Creating high-quality detailed drawings and specifications using REVIT to ensure projects meet budget parameters

-Contributing to planning applications, evaluating environmental and regulatory requirements

-Collaborating with the design team to develop and coordinate design information

-Liaising with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval

-Mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development



What are we looking for?

This role of Architectural Technologist is great for you if:

-You're skilled in REVIT, BIM and relevant design software including AutoCAD and Adobe Design Suite

-You have experience with NBS Create and knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

-You're comfortable working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

-You bring attention to detail and a passion for creative problem-solving

-You have experience in education, blue light, or MOD/MOJ projects (desirable)
